$250 Driver Ed!

Here's the good news! 

RAD is providing the cheapest driver ed in Kootenai County -- $250! -- until 11/4.

The current rates for driver ed in Kootenai County are:  $400, $360, $350, $325, $300, and $275.

Why is RAD offering this low rate?
  1. Many RAD customers have shared how difficult it is to save money for driver education.
  2. Every RAD student who has taken IDLA's online course has found the course challenging.
  3. Every RAD / IDLA student has done superbly applying their skills behind the wheel.
  4. There are only 8 days left to take advantage of the last online course of the year!

Here's how you get the lowest cost.
  1. Sign up with for RAD Behind-the-Wheel instruction.
  2. Sign up with a high school counselor for the IDLA online Driver Ed course.
  3. Pay $75 to IDLA.
  4. Pay $175 to RAD.  Full fee of $275 less $100 discount!  RAD can arrange a payment plan to help you.
What's the deadline?
  • The last online course begins 11/5, in 9 days.
  • Plan to enroll with your counselor next week, 11/1 to 11/3.
  • Get your DMV permit by 11/5.
Can we do this in the new year?

  • This is NOT likely. 
  • IDLA is in the process of ramping up their price and/or limiting and/or discontinuing their online course in the new year.
Any more good news?

  • YES!  Going online, you save the most.
  • Total driver ed cost = Normal price, $350 + cost commuting to class, $25 to $300 depending on where you live!  So, a $350 course may actually cost more than $600!
  • Do your own math; you'll be amazed to find out that commuting to a class may double your cost! 
  • Go online; save commuting cost and time!
